Before Arrival

Before travelling to Taiwan, prepare the required handbook, insurance, health examination documents, and a payment method for registration.

Requirements for Registration

Travel Insurance

You must purchase overseas travel insurance that includes medical care and accident coverage for the entire duration of your stay in Taiwan. Submit the insurance policy in English or Chinese when you register.

Health Examination

Visiting students staying for more than 90 days must complete a medical examination before travelling to Taiwan.

Submit a copy of the completed medical form when you register.

Payment

Prepare a debit card that can withdraw cash overseas. Registration payments are accepted in cash only.

Make sure the card's weekly or monthly withdrawal limit is sufficient for registration fees. Refer to the fees listed on the Visiting Students overview page.
