Student Ambassador of National Sun Yat-sen University
Introduction
NSYSU Student Ambassador (short for SA) is a volunteering student group under the Office of International Affairs established in 2005. SAs represent the university in various international events and activities on campus and in Taiwan, example include the orientation activities for international students; SAs are also involved during winter break in volunteering service abroad, i.e. 2020 in Sri Lanka for Chinese/English teaching services.
Get Involved
SAs is open to both undergraduate and master's students, with no limitation on gender, department, or year of study. Important qualifications include fluent command of English and/or other foreign languages and characteristics/personalities fit to be an ambassador.
After passing interviews, students will be formally admitted to the SA group and participation in events, activities, and courses for one year. Certification will be issued after passing the review. Students will then continue to have opportunities to serve in management leadership roles to further develop teamwork and organizational skills.
